[This article is the first in a series of articles dedicated to the new Lengow modules for the most popular e-commerce platforms. Today we present  the Lengow plugin for Magento.]

Following requests and suggestions from our merchants, the Lengow team conducted a major overhaul of the Lengow export modules for Magento and Prestashop. A new module is also now available for WooCommerce WordPress.

Lengow export module V2 for Magento:

The Lengow module for Magento has been completely redesigned to improve and expand the features of  V1.

Once the Lengow module is installed on your Magento back-office (and your cache emptied), you can access new menus in the « Lengow » tab titled “Export configuration » and « Order Management ».

Export types and formats

Once you have your Lengow login information, you will be able to choose the type of tracker to be used (single tracker or TagCapsule) and configure the settings for exporting your product catalogue to Lengow. You can now export products in several ways: in a Bundle, Grouped, Virtual,  simple or configurable product format and in a .XML, .JSON or .YAML. format.

New import method via API V2:

The new Magento module is based on the new import method via the API V2 implemented by Lengow a few weeks ago.

Debug mode

We also introduced a « debug mode » in the new export plugin, which allows you to perform field tests prior to production. The debug mode allows you to perform tests without affecting orders (changing status, tracking parcels).

Viewing orders

In your Magento module, you can now find a recap of imported orders via the Magento Module (in Lengow> Order Management) and you can consult the timing information of each order.

Migrating Flows

With the new Lengow export module you can access a summary of exported flows and their indexing mode.

Currently you can:

  • export only selected items (selected beforehand)
  • export products without stock
  • select the type of product to be exported,
  • choose the export format

In addition, the process for migrating flows has been greatly simplified, after selecting options for multiple flows, you can tick the box in front of the flows you wish to migrate, then click on the « Migrate all flows » button at the top right hand side of the list .

Filter exports using URL settings

For a particular flow with multiple filters, you must use the Magento settings to manage the different flows, this may be particularly relevant if you are a multi-site, or managing a special flux on a marketplace.

Download the Lengow export module

The new Lengow module for Magento is already available. You can download it from the Lengow website or from Magento Connect.
